by are intertwined with contemporary rock and pop hits of today. A true
artist, Katrin weaves in and out of the genres to take her audience on
an exciting and emotional adventure across the historical and evolving
musical landscape. From the majestic mountains of Bach over the
flower-speckeled valleys of the Beatles to the raging waterfalls of ACDC
and the light breeze of Mozart.
With the support of her band, a chamber orchestra, stunning light and
elegant dancers, Katrin fills the senses with the extremes of soft and
loud, gentle and fierce, high and low, light and dark, tranquil and
thunderous, traditional and contemporary for an unusually dramatic live

An super talent, Katrin Wettin is
technically and emotionally one of the best violinists of our time. She
comes from an intellectually and musically gifted family - her mother
being mathematician and her father a well-known opera singer at the
Semperoper Dresden.
As a child, Katrin's extraordinary musical talent was recognized by
faculty at the special music school Carl Maria von Weber Dresden.
After completing her studies at the Dresden University of Music, Katrin
appeared in various successful quality projects. Having accumulated a
wealth of experience as well as national and international music awards,
Katrin has toured with her band throughout Germany and Europe enchanting
widely diverse audiences with her unique brand of classical, pop, rock
and swing.
